Does technology hold what we may need for the future? Is it possible for there to be a machine or object that can detect a lie with full certainty?
For now, scientists need to study the brain more than they already have to start considering if they can even create such an object. But what some people have been working on might change the future for lies forever. There is an machine called the "AVATAR", it has been getting worked on since the year 2000. It supposed to be able to read one's voice, temperature, stress level, and other cues undetectable by the naked eye. With this, some inventors in Arizona may have the answer. But we will not truly know until years from now down the road. The links to two sites that speak on the future of lie detecting are here. http://www.abc15.com/news/local-news/investigations/avatar-lie-detector-future-of-lie-detection-happening-right-here-in-arizona and http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/future_tense/2013/02/the_future_of_lying_what_if_computers_can_keep_us_from_lying.html .
